Hey guys. Today I want to show you how to prepare the perfect homemade iced chai latte. If you are just as busy as me, you may also look for a fast recipe that might even save you time the following days. It will only take 5 minutes of your precious time. I love to prepare the chai mix on sundays so I will have cheap, tasty and sugar free chai every morning for the rest of the week. Just store it in a jar or a bottle in your fridge. You won’t be disappointed people. + Always make sure to have soy, oat or almond milk in your fridge. Ditch dairy, it’s not as good for you as media is telling you. Did you know that cow milk actually is for baby cows? It has some pretty bad impacts on the human body, instead of providing you with calcium, your body barely absorbs the calcium in cow’s milk and to make matters worse, it actually increases calcium loss from the bones. You can read about it all over the internet if you want to know more about it. I feel much better without dairy.

– HOMEMADE (ICED) CHAI –

for 4; vegan & gluten free & sugar free & low in fructose

Ingredients

CHAI BASICS
– 300 ml hot water
– 1 chai tea bag
– cardamom cloves
– 1 tbsp. of cinnamon powder
(- 1 teaspoon of coriander powder)

Enjoy with plant based milk of your choice. I recommend soy or oat milk. Oh and ice cubes for the iced version. 

Instruction

1. Heat water and add tea bag and spices in a jar.
2. Let sit for about 7-10 minutes. Sieve off spices and remove tea bag.
3. Serve immediately with hot vegan milk – my favorites are soy and oat milk – on a ratio 1:3. Or let cool down, refrigerate and make yourself some delicious homemade iced chai latte.
4. You can store the chai tea in a jar in the fridge for at least 5 days. Enjoy.
